Biography
Ray Burke has been capturing wedding memories for more than 16 years. He began photography by assisting his stepmother, Dorothy Burke, at her Tacoma home studio in the 1940s. Studying photography, graphic arts and education at WWU in Bellingham, Ray Burke continued his love for photography by "stringing" for The Spokane Chronicle and began photographing weddings at his small studio in the Columbia Basin Region of Eastern Washington. With creativity and fundamental skills, he produces quality, ever-lasting portraits.

Burke has attended numerous Professional Photographers of America workshops presented by respected experts in the field of portrait photography, including Tom McDonald from Arkansas, Leonard Levi from New York, Michael Redford of Pennsylvania and Don Blair from Utah.

Burke also has photographed weddings for Seattle's Otto Motal Photography, and has taught photography at middle and high school levels for more than 30 years. With this experience and his love for photography, he will be able to capture and preserve your special wedding memories on film, patiently and professionally.
